Founded in 2008 by John & James Fiocchi, Feng Ping Tooling specializes in providing USA quality tooling to American and European based molders from our China based factory. Because of our advanced tool building capability, we are routinely awarded builds that would normally, not be considered for off-shore sourcing.

From zero to 185 employees and from exporting zero to 35 - 45 molds a month in JUST 24 months! WE MUST BE DOING SOMETHING OUR CUSTOMERS LIKE!

We have experience building, MIM molds, laminated molds, fresnel lens molds, reflector molds, multi cavity molds, over molds, two shot molds, multiple slide molds, large family molds, and molds that weigh up to 15,000 Lbs. We routinely build molds for medical, automotive, consumer and OEM products. We have the ability and resources to complete multiple mold builds on schedule. We are ISO 9001 :2008 certified and provide complete Autodesk insight advisor advanced mold flow, PQP and PPAP services. All of our molds are guaranteed to operate correctly and trouble free. All of our molds are supplied with steel verification, heat treatment certification, molding parameter report and part inspection report. And “NO”, we are not one of those China companies that slap together a mold by drilling 4 holes in the A plate and then wire out the opening, then drop in the insert and use a thin backing plate for the insert so we can save $100 worth of labor on a 35 day build. We do it the old fashioned way like Dad taught us. Blind pocket, hand fit inserts on all the molds.

Standards & Materials:

Parting line interlocks, a cycle counter and pry bar slots that you see on all the China molds that are exported to the USA look great on the outside but don’t make for a high quality, easy to service, export mold. Our export molds are made to true DME and Hasco standards. This means DME & Hasco std. leader bars, bushings, return pins and all other components that can be easily serviced or replaced. Mold base and insert steels are selected by our customers based on application. USA, German, Swedish, Japanese, and of course China steels, are routinely supplied to our customers.

China Based - Rapid Response Engineering Teams:

As a result of customer demand we now have China based rapid response teams with passports and US visas that deploy to our customers in the USA and Europe for on-site design & engineering. An onsite CAD engineer accompanied by two senior tool designers and a translator can plow through a 15 mold build in few weeks. By the time the team is boarding the plane back to China, the builds have already been started and steel is being cut. This has turned out to be an extremely valuable asset for our customers that have large builds and tight deadlines.
